Here we are back at Paparore kura. We started our day with sharing our thoughts, where we're all at, are we using or practicing what we have been learning? Through this korero I have realised that I am not alone on this journey and that I need extra assistance in some area's along with others. (Whew)!!!!
First up we watched and listened to Dorothy Burt. She spoke about how we are lucky to have technology, for not only staying connected but to also create - learn - share. This lady seems to always be in a different place in our beautiful papatuanuku. Before she left us she was heading to Taranaki.
Next we had face to face with Kiriene learning about google forms and creating a questionnaire to share and link to our names on our Agenda. I really enjoyed this part I felt that I picked it up quite easy. (Yeay Me!)
Hapara Hottips with Kerry - I'm glad we went over this, I now am feeling that I am on the right track using Hapara in-class with my students.
We went over google maps with Vicki for our Deep Dive session, this was very interesting to me as my students use this site all the time finding out where each other lives etc... It sure was a Deep Dive session. I certainly would have to play with this site as their is so much more you can do wtihin google maps. It is 'AMAZING'. We were able to make and share a google map place. That was fun.
We moved onto spread sheets with Kerry and Heck at first it went straight over my head with alot to take in. It seems to be a useful tool if you know what you are doing. Kerry and Vicky make it look so easy.
